At least six local governments from Katsina State, along with the state leaders of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), visited the party's headquarters to purchase forms for leadership candidacy but found the offices deserted.

Alhaji Salisu Uli, who led the delegation, stated that they visited the PDP headquarters on Kano Road in Katsina to buy forms for various leadership positions. Despite the PDP's announcement of the commencement of form sales, there was no one at the headquarters, and the offices were locked.

Uli expressed his disappointment over the absence of personnel to sell the forms, especially as the deadline was approaching. He noted that the PDP had announced the start of form sales from the 3rd of July, but there was still no arrangement at the state headquarters in Katsina.

The local governments represented in the visit included Kankiya, Mashi, Danmusa, Katsina, Funtua, and Malumfashi. The party representatives voiced their concerns about not being able to obtain the forms on time, adding that they would continue their efforts to acquire the forms before the five-day deadline expires.
